Claude Bosi, chef/owner of two-Michelin-starred restaurant Hibiscus has left the Bell at Yarpole, Herefordshire.

The Enterprise Inns tenancy had been run by Claude's brother Cedric since 2006, with Claude investing in the site and giving menu input. It is believed Cedric, who gained a Michelin Bib Gourmand for the pub in 2009 has gone to work for his brother in London.

Hibiscus was originally based in Ludlow, Herefordshire, but relocated to London in 2007. The pub was taken over two weeks ago by chef Campbell Tierney, previously head chef at the

Salutation Inn, Weobley, Herefordshire.

All Bosi's kitchen staff have left the business, but the manager and many front-of-house staff remain. Tierney plans to maintain the Bell as a food-led pub.

The menu features soup of the day, smoked duck & citrus salad, prawn cocktail, wild mushroom risotto, beer battered haddock, and Herefordshire pork belly with black pudding and mash.
