A £13m lottery jackpot winner has given up her life of leisure to take on her local pub.

Sandra Fosbrook has become tenant at the Stag at Five Roads, near Llanelli, after the pub had closed.

She has used her fortune to give the pub a major facelift - and works a 12-hour day cooking meals and serving thirsty regulars.

"I was a bit fed up with doing nothing and there's only so many holidays you can take," said Sandra.

"When the chance came to take over the pub I jumped at it. I was determined to keep my feet on the ground and at the same time put something back into the community."

She runs it as a family affair with son Matthew, his partner Debbie Bradder, and Debbie's mum Carol.

Meanwhile, Sandra's husband Ken has gone back to work as a £5-an-hour bingo caller at his local rugby club, where he worked before the couple's win.
