Peach pub hosts Argentinian steak night
Peach Pub the Fishes in North Hinksey, Oxford, hosted an Argentinian wine and steak night.
Wines of Argentina and the Argentinian Beef Promotion Board chose the Peach Pub Company to co-host its first promotion outside London.
Around 100 diners paired premium Argentinian wines with a choice of Argentinean or dry-aged Aberdeenshire steaks at the Fishes.
Peach Pubs the Rose & Crown in Warwick and the Black Horse in Milton Keynes will also hosting a weekly steak night this month.
"Our partnership with Peach is the first in a programme of on-trade focussed activities that we've got lined up for 2010," said Andrew Maidment of Wines of Argentina.
"We want to encourage more consumers to discover and enjoy some of the best Argentina has to offer and Peach are the perfect partner for us."
