Flagship London Yates's to re-open

Yates's flagship London pub in Leicester Square is set to re-open this week, following a refurbishment.

The Town & City Pub Company outlet will re-launch on Thursday 29 April after a four day makeover. The pub will host a weekend of events to mark the occasion.

The Leicester Square venue has been transformed into the new Yates's look, including new lighting, furniture and a updated multi-media system.

On Thursday it will host a red carpet event complete with fire canons, stiltwalkers and a champagne reception. 

The opening weekend will be packed with parties and events all themed around summer fun —  with the pub decked out as a beach bar, complete with garlands, coconut bar and holidays to win. 

There will also be a range of special offers including two main meals for £8.95 all day everyday plus a £2.99 special available every day.

There will also be several drinks offers across various nights of the week.

"Our new look bar will have a totally refreshed and updated feel with the latest sound and lighting equipment," said general manager Darren Earl.

"With live DJ seven nights a the week and free entry before 9pm we can offer our customers a central London party each and every night without the need for nightclub prices.

"Our opening weekend is set to be incredible. With summer themed parties and holiday giveaways we promise to make your bank holiday weekend go with a bang."
