Carlsberg gets legends to inspire World Cup effort

A host of English sporting legends are helping lager giant Carlsberg deliver what it claims is 'probably the best team talk in the world'.

The sponsors of the England football team's pre-World Cup advert features a line-up of greats who are hoping to inspire the team to victory.

Stars who appear include Sir Ian Botham, Sir Steve Redgrave, World Cup winner Jack Charlton and Dame Kelly Holmes.

Sir Steve Redgrave said: "We had a lot of fun creating this advert with Carlsberg and it was amazing to see so many English champions getting involved in the project.

"England have got a great chance at this summer's tournament and I hope we have helped to get the nation behind the team and spur them on to victory in South Africa."

The ad first aired on Saturday and will run until the end of June.
