Scottish & Newcastle Pub Co offers new leases
Scottish & Newcastle Pub Company (S&NPC) is offering new leases on 15 of its pubs, all of which are in line for investment spending totalling nearly £2m.
The pubs, located across the UK from Truro in Cornwall to Inverness in the Scottish Highlands, are being marketed by property agent Christie + Co. The sites will get investment of anywhere between £30,000 and £385,000 as part of an expenditure programme which will see S&NPC spend £10.5m on upgrading 175 pubs during 2010.
S&NPC said it wanted to "work in partnership with experienced operators to develop these pubs and to unlock their full growth potential".
Andrew Cannons, the pubco's projects & acquisitions director, said: "We have identified target consumer groups, consumer occasions and the right offer for each of these pubs.
"What we now require is funded lessees with drive, determination and passion to succeed to help translate this vision in to reality."
