Pub re-named Three Lions for World Cup
Two football mad licensees have registered their support for the beautiful game by renaming their pub the Three Lions for the duration of the World Cup.
The pub in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, owned by the Orchid Group, was previously called the Red Lion.
Licensees Adam Manning and Emma Pearce are also backing England's bid to host the 2018 World Cup.
The Three Lions will screen all the World Cup matches, while decorated in 32 different flags — one for each participating country.
"We're football mad at the Red Lion so changing the pub's name to the Three Lions seemed the perfect way to show our support this World Cup," explained Pearce, who says all the regulars are behind the change.
Pearce and Manning hope the name change will become permanent if England win this summer.
