Two men have been banned from all pubs for the duration of the World Cup after being charged with being drunk and disorderly.

Stephen Selwood, 21, and Kier Gower, 25, both from Swindon, were charged after being arrested following England's opening match against the USA on 12 June.

They are bailed to appear before Swindon Magistrates on 3 August.

A condition of their bail is that they must not attend any licensed premises for the duration of the World Cup (until 11 July) or to attend any public premises or areas where World Cup matches are being shown.

Selwood and Gower were also banned from attending Swindon Town or England games until 11 July.
