Lincoln Scream pub to be a Harvester
Mitchells & Butlers is to convert its Scream student pub in Lincoln into a Harvester.
The Scream site is located on the Brayford waterfront, close to the University of Lincoln. It is, however, also located very close to a multiplex cinema and several other restaurants.
The conversion is part of the wider, national strategy of M&B to focus on growing food-led businesses.
Timescales for closure and conversion of the site are still to be finalised, but M&B said it believes a Harvester restaurant will be a popular addition to Lincoln.
The company will look to retain or redeploy staff at the site who wish to continue with M&B.
