AB InBev launches Stella Artois Black
AB InBev UK is launching Stella Artois Black — a 4.9% ABV golden beer matured for longer than the original — in the on-trade.
The "rounded, full-bodied" beer, brewed in Belgium, will be available in selected venues from autumn this year.
"We're very pleased to be introducing Stella Artois Black," said AB InBev UK president Stuart MacFarlane.
"This is another demonstration of our commitment to innovation and investment in the Stella Artois family, building on the ongoing success of Stella Artois 5%, and following the very successful 2008 launch of Stella Artois 4 %.
"Stella Artois offers a portfolio of brands for different occasions, and Stella Artois Black will complement Stella Artois 5% and Stella Artois 4%, offering a "premium plus" experience, complete with bespoke font, glassware and a reverential pouring ritual."
