French black raspberry liqueur Chambord has changed the face of its bottle for the first time in a quarter of a century.

Chambord's previous bottle design had not changed in appearance since 1984.

The new bottle has been redesigned to improve appearance and for better grip and ease of pouring with a longer neck.

The trademark crown lid has been modified to encapsulate the look of a raspberry made of 'jewels' on top.

Charlotte Ashburner, Chambord brand manager, said: "We're quite proud Chambord's grown up a bit".

The 700ml new bottle is now available with the 200ml bottle arriving by October 2010.
