Ember Inns has unveiled the results of its tie-up with breweries Adnams, Batemans, Ringwood and Daniel Thwaites, which gave four of its regulars the chance to brew their own beer.

The winning ales have already been brewed by the breweries and will be available at Ember Inns venues across the country throughout July.

Winner's Ale from Maurice Terrell was brewed at Adnams and is a 4% ABV pale ale made with First Gold hops and Crystal malt; Daddy's Little Feller, named after winner Darren Short's newborn son, is a 4.1% ABV brew made with Fuggles hops and wheat and was the Batemans' ale; student Aimee Ryan came up with the Sovereign Smuggler, the Ringwood Brewery beer, made with Sovereign and Goldings hops and Maris Otter malt. The fourth beer,Tale Wagger, was designed by Dr Peter Asquith-Cowen and created by Daniel Thwaites and was made from Goldings and Bramling Cross hops.
