Wilkins opens his third Little Gem
Entrepreneur Steve Wilkins, who runs Little Gems Country Dining, has taken on his third pub, the Charles Wells-owned Park, in Bedford.
The Park is undergoing a £75,000 refurbishment and Little Gems is taking a 15-year lease on the premises.
Said Wilkins: "We're looking to replicate what we do at the Swan, in Milton Keynes village.
"The Park is a great property that has been under-trading in recent years
in a very affluent part of Bedford which has great demographics.
"The pub has high visibility and offers great trading space inside and out.
"We're enjoying working with Charles Wells and will be looking to develop other opportunities."
