The Star Tavern in Belgravia has picked up a top accolade for delivering great quality beer.

Licensees Jason and Karen Tinklin picked up the Fuller's Master Cellarman award 2010 for top cellar maintenance.

The pub was chosen from 11 finalists, which were all tested on cellar cleanliness and dispense equipment. Samples of beer were also analysed when the Fuller's pubs were visited four times in the past year.

Jason and Karen, who have been licensees with Fuller's since 2004, received their trophy at a ceremony at the Griffin Brewery yesterday.

On collecting their award, the Tinklins said they were thrilled. "It's great to be recognised for all the hard work that we've put in over the past 12 months," said Jason.

"It's a huge honour to be named best of the best at Fuller's especially as the other finalists were all so deserving of the title."
