Martini unveils new marketing company

Entrepreneur Yaser Martini, former director of property agent Fleurets, has unveiled a new mobile and social marketing company, MePlease.

The company, in which Martini is an investor and working partner, is already working on a range of initiatives with leisure sector companies, including Pizza Express and Waxy O' Connor's pubs.

Martini said: "MePlease is an integrated social and mobile marketing platform that provides businesses with powerful new ways to engage customers on their mobiles, along with easy social media sharing.

"Just as importantly, our platform gives people using MePlease complete control over which businesses can interact with them and how often.

"We think there's nothing like it in the marketplace and we will have a lot more exciting news to announce in the upcoming months.

"It's very exciting for us and the culmination of a lot of hard work and technological innovation by a world-class team."

MePlease was founded in May 2009. Some of MePlease's other current business clients include: Bella Italia, Cineworld, Jack Wills, Nimax Theatre Group, Jongleur's Comedy Clubs, 333 Holdings and Ted Baker.

Meplease has been working with the PizzaExpress in Richmond for over six months on a project which continually engages 1000-plus customers using MePlease's integrated one-to-one mobile and social web platform.

Every customer who joins MePlease at the PizzaExpress in Richmond receives an instant treat of free dough balls or gelato with their meal once they opt in and show their text to their waiter.

Other treats sent out to subscribers every couple of weeks have included: two-for-ones, free glasses of wine or beer, exclusive meal deals and most recently an invite to a tasting event with their head chef.

Meplease has raised £1.3m in seed round financing and is led by a management team from Silicon Valley and the UK, including veterans of Apple, Microsoft, Twitter, Ad IQ and Accenture.
