Rekorderlig seals draught-cider deal at Pitcher & Piano

Swedish premium cider brand Rekorderlig is set to launch into draught format.

The brand has secured a draught listing with Pitcher & Piano, which is the first chain to take the producer's Apple variant.

Rekorderlig Apple draught will sit alongside bottle serves of Strawberry-Lime, Wild Berries and the Limited Edition Winter Cider.

The Winter Cider, which will be available from mid-November, can be served warm or cold in branded glassware.

The drink is made from Rekorderlig Apple Cider infused with vanilla and cinnamon.

An eight-litre stainless steel urn is also available to on-trade customers, to allow venues to heat the cider to the desired temperature.

"We're delighted to be extending our Rekorderlig range to include draught following the outstanding performance of Strawberry-Lime this summer," said Pitcher & Piano's managing director Colin Sadler.

"The perfect serve always delivers on taste and has offered our consumers a new premium cider experience. With that in mind we're looking forward to listing Rekorderlig Apple as our premium draught cider."

The full range of ciders, which also includes a Pear variant, is made from pure Swedish spring water and selected fruits and berries.
