Chapel Down has created a blend of its sparkling wine for the Demelza Hospice Care for Children charity.

Working with the charity's CEO, Ted Gladdish, Chapel Down's head winemaker, Andrew Parley, has created a bespoke sparkling wine.

Demelza provides hospice care for children in the south-east.

The bespoke blend, Demelza Fizz, will be exclusive to the charity, and available for supporters to buy. All profits from the wine will go to the charity.

The wine is made with a base of Chapel Down's Pinot Reserve 2004 and blended with a Pinot Noir dosage to create a pink fizz.

"We're really thrilled to work with Demelza in this way," said managing director Frazer Thompson. "It's an opportunity for us to provide our time to help a fantastic charity raise money."
