Birra Moretti give it a Mo

Italian premium beer Birra Moretti is again joining forces with TV chefs Giancarlo and Katie Caldesi to back this year's moustache-growing Movember campaign.

As Movember's beer partner, the Heineken owned brand, will help raise funds and awareness for the Prostate Charity by advising consumers of the benefits of ingredients high in antioxidants — such as tomatoes, which are often used in Italian cooking.

Italian restaurateurs and the faces of the brand, the Caldesis, will host a pizza fortnight from 15 to 28 November with a menu of four pizzas using Birra Moretti and Mediterranean ingredients.

The menu will be available at the Caldesis' restaurant in return for a voucher that consumers can get by raising money for charity via www.uk.movember.com. They will also receive a free bottle with every food order.

Prizes will be awarded in the Best Mo Awards at Movember's Gala party in London on 25 November.

Winners of the Team Mo award — for a team of 10 or less who raise the most money — will win an evening at the Italian Cookery School at Cafe Caldesi in January.

There will also be four chances to win a free meal for two at the restaurant throughout the month.
