Rel Pub Company is opening a sixth Break Bar site in Berkshire next year after a £700,000 refurbishment.

Rel Pub Company is opening a sixth Break Bar site in Berkshire next year.

The new venue in Newbury will open from 7am as Coffee Republic and close at 3am as late-night lounge Break Bar.

The company is spending £700,000 refurbishing the venue, which is situated in the Kennet Centre Leisure by Vue cinemas and other restaurants.

Recruitment will begin in January.

Rel Pub Company, founded in 2008 and led by chief executive Andy Scott, has similar venues in Bristol, Eastleigh in Hampshire and Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.

The company plans to have 20 sites open by March 2012.
