Marston's has surrendered the lease on its Que Pasa venue in Staines, Middlesex — it had 16 years left on the lease.

Marston's has surrendered the lease on its Que Pasa venue in Staines, Middlesex.

The venue had 16 years remaining on the lease with a passing rent of £146,000 a year.

Que Pasa was situated in Staines town centre with an open-plan 80-cover bar with a 32-cover bar area and balcony on the first floor.

"We had decided not to reinvest in the site therefore a sub letting or possibly an assignment, seemed the only options. We are therefore delighted to have agreed the surrender," said Tim Nash of Marstons.

The surrender was negotiated by Fleurets. "We're delighted to have acted for Marstons in agreeing the surrender, it was clearly the best possible outcome for our client," said James Davies of Fleurets.
