There are still a handful of tickets available for Monday's conference on preparing for the Olympics.

Hospitality: Getting in shape for 2012, organised by M&C Report and Morning Advertiser, will provide tips and advice for pubs to maximise on the extra tourism the Olympics will bring.

There is a top line-up of speakers including the Mayor of London's key man Vince Fihosy, programme director for the Greater London Authority City Operations.

He is responsible for the entire visitor experience for the Olympics and will advise conference attendees of where the fanzones will be located and how people will move around the city to help pubs make the most of the opportunity.

Also taking to the stage to deliver presentations will be tourism minister John Penrose; head of people for McDonald's Europe David Fairhurst; chief executive of Travelodge Guy Parsons; and Ufi Ibrahim, chief executive of the British Hospitality Association.

There will also be workshops, discussion panels and a number of companies will unveil their plans to maximise the opportunity.

The conference will take place on Monday 31 January at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in London.
