Magners offers free PoS kits for St Patrick's Day

Irish cider Magners has announced it will support pubs' St Patrick's Day celebrations by offering free point-of-sale kits.

The kits for packaged Magners Pear Cider use the slogan "It's come a long way from Tipperary..." and includes posters, table talkers, bunting, and table toppers.

St Patrick's Day - March 17 - falls on a Thursday this year.

Gordon Johncox, managing director of Magners GB said: "St. Patrick's Day has always been a big event in the calendar for us and we naturally see an uplift in volume and distribution during this time as licensees run their own activity and promotions. Multiple requests from the trade have led us to offer specific support for St. Patrick's Day in 2011.

"By supporting licensees with this kit, which is designed to improve visibility and drive sales, we hope to help the trade make the most of the profit opportunity around St. Patrick's Day."
