Bulmers launches third limited edition cider
The third limited edition cider for Bulmers will launch next month, as owner Heineken aims to recruit new drinkers to the category.
Crisp Blend is made from a mix of traditional cider apples with some sharper tasting varieties to create a crisp and refreshing cider.
The seasonal cider follows Bulmers Summer Blend launched in April 2010 and Red Apple last October.
"Cider continues to be a hugely popular long alcoholic drink with nearly three million more people drinking cider now than five years ago," said brand manager Doug Cook. "As drinkers become more discerning in their tastes, it is important to create new interest and excitement and the Bulmers Limited Edition products appeal to those who are looking for something a little different and who want to widen their drinks repertoire."
It will be available from 7 March and will be backed with a major marketing campaign.
