Food prices are rising three times as fast in Britain than the rest of Europe, raising fears that supermarkets in this country are taking advantage of global food inflation. Food inflation in January ran at 6.3 per cent, on an annual basis, compared with an average of 1.5 per cent in the Eurozone, according to official figures collected by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, an influential group of the 30 richest nations - The Telegraph
