There is still time for your pub to get involved in this year's Publican Pub Golf Tournament and win a golfing trip to the five-star La Manga resort.

Thousands of players representing hundreds of pubs are taking part in The competition, sponsored by Fuller's London Pride.

The event, which has been running for 15 years, gives players of all abilities the chance to compete for the title and win a luxury trip to the renowned Spanish golfing resort of La Manga.

The competition got under way in March with teams of four, representing pubs and clubs, battling it out in a series of regional events.

A dozen of the competition's 21 area heats have now taken place, but there is still time to get involved in the remaining heats.

Remaining heats include:

13 April — Glen Gorse, Leicester

14 April — Manor of Groves, Hertfordshire

15 April — Diss Golf Club, Norfolk

18 April — Calcot Golf Club, Reading

19 April — Camford Manor, Wimbourne, Dorset

22 April — St Pierre Gold Club, Chepstow

26 April — Bramhall Golf Club, Cheshire

27 April — Selby Golf Club, North Yorkshire

Following the heats, area finals will take place in May with the grand final taking place on the 10th and 11th of July at Staverton Park in Daventry.

The format for the area heats includes coffee on arrival, 18 holes of golf, a halfway house with complementary refreshments (including a London Pride to help you through the back nine) and a number of prizes and challenges throughout the day.

• Teams must be entered under the name of a pub/club anywhere in the UK
