It's no mis-steak: Kate & Wills on Beefeater rump
Whitbread's Beefeater Grill is putting its stamp on the Royal Wedding by serving customers a rump steak branded with the faces of the happy couple.
The brand is serving 'Royal rump steaks' branded with the faces of Prince William and Kate Middleton using a bespoke branding iron, the first of its kind in the UK.
The steaks are seared with an image of the regal pair. They have already been served to diners at the Southcote Beefeater Grill in Reading — the town where Kate was born.
Customers can pre-order the steaks to be enjoyed over the Royal Wedding weekend in four Beefeater Grill restaurants.
Kathryn Mitchell, marketing manager for Beefeater Grill said: "We're as excited as the rest of the nation about celebrating the Royal Wedding and wanted to make our mark on the royal affair.
"Our Royal Rumps are perfect for celebrating the special day in style."
