Bedfordshire brewer and pub operator Charles Wells has placed a portfolio of six freeholds on the market.

The sale of the pubs is understood to be part of the continual churn of the company's 250-strong tenanted and leased estate.

The sites, which are for sale with vacant possession, are: the Boot in Langford, Bedfordshire; the Dog & Partridge in Brentwood, Essex; the Folly in Towcester, Northamptonshire; the Hare & Hounds in Great Addington, Northamptonshire; the Wheatsheaf in Flitwick, Bedfordshire and the White Hart in Stoke Goldington, Buckinghamshire.

Prices for the pubs, which include those with redevelopment potential, range from offers invited to more than £300,000.
