Gourmet frozen foods pop up restaurant
The world's first gourmet frozen food restaurant featuring the signature dishes of top chefs is "popping up" next month.
N-Ice will showcase dishes from Great British Menu's Atul Kochhar, Something for the Weekend's Simon Rimmer and Michelin-starred Galton Blackiston from 8 to 12 August.
The pop up restaurant will be within fine dining rooms on Vincent Square, London, and all ingredients — from herbs and onion to steaks and lamb — will be from frozen.
Dishes will include smoked salmon and basil terrine with anchovy butter, pickled ginger crème fraiche and citrus fruits with Melba toast.
Service will be run by lecturers and up and coming chefs from Westminster Kingsway College Culinary arts school.
The restaurant will live up to its name with frozen trees, frosted scultpures and snowflake table dressings. It will open from noon to 2pm each day.
