DBC Foodservice has appointed a new head of hotels, pubs and restaurants to focus on its on-trade business.

Joe Robb will report to sales director Tony Rowlands and focus on building the portfolio including Barracuda Group, Revolution and Prezzo.

He last held the post of national accounts manager for the pub sector of Delice de France and has worked for Greene King as senior food development manager and for Mitchells & Butlers.

"We are delighted to welcome Joe to DBC," said managing director Chris Horne. "Like all our other recent recruits Joe has worked in the food industry from the very start of his career, and therefore has a wealth of highly relevant experience. Joe's first-hand experience of working for a number of well-respected pub groups will undoubtedly enable both Joe and his team to understand and deliver exactly what our on-trade customers are looking for."
