The Craft Beer Co is believed to be in talks with a number of interested parties regarding funding to roll out the brand to further sites in London.

The Craft Beer Co, the specialist beer-bar concept launched by award-winning licensee Martin Hayes, is believed to be in talks with a number of interested parties regarding funding to roll out the brand to further sites in London and nationally.

The first Craft Beer Co launched last month in Clerkenwell, central London, and stocks the biggest range of craft beers in the UK, with 16 handpumps for British ales, 21 international beers on keg and around 300 bottled beers.

Hayes, who also operates the Cask Pub & Kitchen in London's Pimlico, said: "I always viewed Craft Beer Co as a true brand and one that could be rolled out across the country.

"To that end, it has been no surprise to me that I am being approached by a number of parties about expanding the brand in London and beyond."

"It's been great watching people's enthusiasm for the concept and I have no doubt people will show the same enthusiasm as we grow.

"There's a craft-beer revolution out there and it only shows signs of gaining further momentum, putting the brand in a great spot to showcase the wonderful craft brewers we have in the UK, as well as many more stunning beers from around the world. We're not just selling beer here, we're fuelling a movement."

Hayes said the biggest challenge the business faced was finding the right sites.
