The Restaurant Show 2011 has launched and will provide unmissable tips, business advice and inspiration for pub chefs and operators.

The three-day event from 10 to 12 October is organised by the Publican's Morning Advertiser's sister title Restaurant magazine.

It will play host to celebrated chefs, including Tom Kerridge of Michelin-starred the Hand and Flowers in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, award-winning former pub chef Ashley Palmer-Watts of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and Bruno Loubet of Bistro Bruno Loubet. They will in turn take Centre Stage throughout the event.

Competition Theatre

On the first day, Champagne Jacquart will put young chef and sommelier pairs through their paces to see who has got what it takes to clinch the Rising Stars title at the Competition Theatre.

The next day will see chefs battle it out to be crowned National Chef of the Year 2011 — the competition in which Gordon Ramsay was once a winner.

The Young National Chef of the Year competition will run on the final day. The Compass Junior and Senior Chef of the Year finalists will go head-to-head with each other to prove they are the best.

The Food and Drink Market will focus on food sourcing with samples to be enjoyed. Exhibiting companies will include McCain Food and SeeWoo Group, which will showcase their produce and give advice for individual menus.

Business Bootcamp will see a number of industry leaders offer advice and interaction, including Restaurant magazine editor Will Drew, James Robertson of Groupon and BBC presenter Tim Selby.

On-site restaurant Lunch@TRS will serve a tapas-inpsired menu made by the team at Westminster Kingsway College and othe leading chefs. On 11 October the restaurant will become a fine dining venue serving patisserie and Champagne.

The show will be held at earls Court 2, London, from 10am to 5pm and until 7pm on the Tuesday.
