Eliot’s unveils a new spicy cider

Haywood Products has launched a new spicy cider under its Eliot’s brand that can be served either hot or cold.

Fraser Henderson, managing director of Haywood Products — owner of the Eliot’s brand — said: “Our new Spicy Cider is a unique tasting, refreshing ‘sipping cider’, which is 5% ABV.

“It tastes wonderful hot or cold, making it a versatile drink that can be served regardless of the weather all year round. Our consumer test marketing has had excellent feedback — and like our other drinks, it promises to offer great returns. It’s also quick and easy to serve with our no-waste system.”

Eliot’s, best known for its mulled wine and winter warmer drinks, now offers two hot and cold serve beverages following its launch of Sangria in June.

Each easy-to-serve drink is packaged in a ‘bag-in-tube’ system and uses the same bar-top dispenser that can heat each serving individually — or enable it to be served cold over ice.

Each tube of Eliot’s contains three litres, providing 17 175ml servings.
