Powder Keg Diplomacy: new Lost Society outlet
The team behind London-based bar and restaurant sites Lost Society and Blind Tiger are set to launch a fifth outlet in the capital, after buying the leasehold interest on a site in Clapham.

The group, led by Warren Lindsay, Murray Slater and James Parfitt, will open Powder Keg Diplomacy bar and restaurant before the end of the year on the site of a former Tragus Group unit in St John’s Hill. It also has an outlet in Wandsworth Road, Clapham.

The trio, who also operate the Lost Angel and Citizen Smith venues, have set a goal to serve seasonal fare in an “urban colonial” environment, which appeals to “a new generation of diners looking for ingredients and dishes that are truly seasonal, sourced from the best of what the British Isles has to offer”.

Powder Keg Diplomacy will offer a drinks list that will “draw you into a bygone age influenced by Victorian imagination, ingenuity and innovation”, with a beer list structured around “what is great about traditional British brewing while doffing its cap to a new breed of microbrewed ales from the British Isles”.
