Peach Pub Company is gearing up to smash the current cappaccino-making record as part of the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning this Friday (30 September).

All 14 pubs will attempt to break the record of 106 cappaccinos in an hour between 10 and 11am on Friday to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records. The target is 150 coffees.

The attempts will be independently filmed with the footage sent to Guinness World Records for verification.

“Our pubs are really popular places for locals to hook up with friends and colleagues for a catch-up over coffee, so we thought it would make sense for us to do our bit to help make next Friday’s Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning the best yet,” said Andrew Coath, joint venture partner.

“Our teams have had a few practice runs so are all fired up and ready to go and we hope they’ll all make it into the Guinness Book of World Records.”

Union Hand-Roasted coffee is donating all the coffee that will be used with £3 from each coffee going to Macmillan Cancer Support.
