New distributor for Russian Standard
The deal, effective from 1 January 2012, follows the termination of Russian Standard’s distribution agreement with First Drinks Brands at the end of 2011.

Jonathan Stordy, chief executive at Russian Standard international, said the arrangement with Whyte & Mackay offers his company an “exciting chance” to manage its brand more closely in the UK market.
Stordy added: “We would like to thank First Drinks Brands for a very successful four years distributing our brand. It was a difficult decision to change distributor, but the opportunity to take greater control is extremely attractive.”
