Loungers, the privately-owned group led by Alex Reilley, has opened its third site under its Cosy Club brand in Stamford, Lincolnshire.

The latest Cosy Club, which is located in the town’s old Post Office delivery office, follows previous openings under the brand
in Bath and Taunton.

A fourth Cosy Club, which was developed for market towns and to appeal to a more female audience, is set to open in Exeter around the turn of the year on the ground floor of the Halford Wing of Dean Clarke House.

Loungers, which currently operates 21 sites in total, including the Stamford site, intends to add further sites by the end of April 2012 under both its Lounge and the Cosy Club concepts.

The group is thought to be looking at opening its first Cosy Club site in Cardiff. Insight Retail acted on behalf of Loungers on the Stamford site.
