New for winter: Kopparberg's cranberry & cinnamon variety
Swedish cider brand Kopparberg has introduced its winter variant, Kopparberg cranberry & cinnamon, into pubs and bars.

The new limited-edition cider, which is purportedly slightly drier in taste than the flagship brand, but remains “unmistakably Kopparberg in character”, will be available until March 2012.

It has already gained extensive listings through all major wholesalers as well as managed groups such as Greene King, Enterprise Inns, Punch and Whitbread, brand owner Cider of Sweden claimed.

Cider of Sweden’s UK managing director, Davin Nugent, said: “Launching our next seasonal variant allows Kopparberg to continue its tradition of innovation, but without creating an endless range, which can be frustrating for publicans. We believe the key to the success of our seasonal range is if consumers do not want it to go.”

Kopparberg cranberry & cinnamon follows on from the success of the brand’s summer limited-edition cider variant raspberry & mint, Nugent added.
