Booker: updated vehicle fleet
Booker Direct, the national delivery operation of Booker, has converted its vehicle fleet to enable multi-temperature deliveries.

An internal moveable bulkheads in the vehicles allows them to transport ambient, chilled and frozen products at the same time, meaning customers can receive all their goods together.

“We are delighted to now be able to offer our customers an improved chilled and frozen service,” said Mark Aylwin, managing director of Booker Direct.

“We have made a significant investment to ensure we do not just meet our customer’s expectations, we exceed them. A single delivery of all our customer’s food and non-food requirements significantly improves productivity at out customer’s sites; reducing paperwork, handling and replenishment times.”
