Enterprise Inns raises £23.9m from 17 pubs
Enterprise Inns has raised £23.9m from the sale and leaseback of a portfolio of 17 freehold pubs located across the South of England to Hermes Property Unit Trust (HPUT).

In March this year, the Enterprise raised £32.46m from the sale and leaseback of 26 freehold pubs in London to HPUT.

The latest portfolio is believed to include just two pubs in Central London, with the majority of the sites situated in affluent locations in the South of England.

The pubs will be leased back to Enterprise on new 35-year leases.

The latest sale and leaseback is in line with Enterprise’s stated objective to seek efficient sources of capital, and the disposal proceeds will be used for debt repayment.

After this latest deal, Enterprise will have achieved around £261.9m from its sale and leaseback and disposals programme.
