McCoy's links up with darts league
McCoy’s is to become the title sponsor of the PDC Premier League darts competition in a three-year deal.
To coincide with the tie-up, McCoy’s maker United Biscuits UK (UBUK) is planning an on-pack promotion of-fering customers the chance to win VIP tickets to the league play-offs at the O2 Arena in London.
The tournament pits the world’s top eight players — including the legendary Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, reigning Premier League Darts champion Gary Anderson and PDC World Champion Adrian Lewis — against each other over four months across 15 UK venues.
UBUK marketing director Jon Eggleton said: “Darts has become increasingly popular in recent years and our partnership with the PDC is the perfect platform for McCoy’s Real Man positioning.”
