Hi-Spirits broker a gin deal
Broker’s is billed as a quintessentially English spirit, named after London stockbrokers who traditionally celebrated a successful day on the trading floor with a dry gin cocktail. Each bottle is capped with a miniature bowler hat, the traditional headgear of city gents.
Hi-Spirits will distribute the brand to the UK on-trade alongside its existing portfolio, which includes Antica Sambuca, Sebor Absinth, Buffalo Trace Bourbon, and Fireball liqueur with cinnamon and whiskey.
“Broker’s is a classic gin, which makes a truly great gin and tonic, as well as mixing superbly in gin cocktails,” said Hi-Spirits chairman Jeremy Hill.
Broker’s Gin was created by Martin and Andy Dawson in the 1990s and is made in a 200-year-old gin distillery in Warwickshire, using a traditional copper pot-still.
Broker's accolades include a Masters Award in the super-premium category at the London Gin Masters in 2011, the Chairman’s Trophy at The Ultimate Spirits Challenge in 2010, a Platinum Award at the World Beverage Competition in 2007 and a Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2005.
Distilled in two strengths – 40% and 47% ABV – Broker's is available in cases of 6 x 70cl bottles and 60 x 5cl miniatures in both strengths.
