The BII has launches a new 2012 'Budget Calculator' for licensees enabling them to work out the impact of this week's budget on their businesses.

BII is delighted to announce it has a new 2012 ‘budget calculator’ which it’s making available to all, not just BII members, as it did last year after the 2011 budget.
This calculator uses Microsoft Excel, and has been developed by the BII’s Business Doctor Trevor Brown CBII who writes regularly in the BII’s monthly BIIBUSINESS magazine. It enables licensees to re-price products in line with the announced rises in duty in the budget.

Peter Thomas, CEO of BII, said: “I am extremely pleased to be able to announce the availability of this new calculator, and my thanks to our Business Doctor Trevor Brown. This is a time when the whole industry needs all the help and support we can give, so we are really pleased to be able to offer this to all those working in the industry”
Trevor Brown the BII Business Doctor and managing director of SureStock4bars said: “It is a pleasure to be able to do something to help. I do hope that non-members using the workbook will take this opportunity to join BII and take advantage of the huge range of other benefits available. Failing that, perhaps they could make an appropriate donation to The Licensed Trade Charity – there are details about how to make a donation on the BII’s website”
The new workbook can be found on the BII’s website www.bii.org/budget-calculator
