Beers made with berries and apples are joining the Wychwood Brewery's portfolio as it looks to lure fans of the “over ice” serve.

The Marston's brewery has enjoyed success with its Ginger Beard brew launched last August and wants to build on this with the launch of Snake's Bite, a beer infused with cider apples, and Forest Fruits, a beer blended with mixed berries.

“These are a refreshingly light option for young male and female drinkers who enjoy long drinks served over ice,” explained marketing manager Chris Keating. “They are different because they are created from a genuine beer base, offering more depth of flavour whilst still appealing to drinkers who enjoy a sweeter taste.”

The launch will be supported with activity on social media sites as well as new glassware, PoS material and branded merchandise for stockists.
