JD Wetherspoon puts five pubs on the market
The package consists of three freeholds and two closed leaseholds and are available individually or as a group.
Three of the five are freeholds, all available with vacant possession upon completion. They are: the Eastgate in Northampton (asking price of £975,000); the White Swan in Portsmouth (asking price of £700,000); and the Picturedrome in Liverpool, a former cinema and television centre, which has a guide price of £495,000.
The leaseholds, which are available at nil premium, are the Printworks in Farringdon, London, and the Lodestar in Neston, Merseyside.

The quality of the bars, together with the prime location they each enjoy, will undoubtedly result in a great deal of interest in a market where demand is more than keeping pace with the rate of pub disposals.”
