Great British Pub Awards 2012 finalists revealed

Following a rigorous judging process which included site visits by a team of expert judges, regional winners in 15 categories have now been chosen. All winners have now been invited to London for the awards ceremony on 13 September at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

There the national category champions will be crowned, with the awards culminating with the prize for the best of the best - the overall Great British Pub of the Year 2012.

Rob Willock, editor of the Publican's Morning Advertiser, said: "Congratulations to all the pubs that have been named finalists. The standard of entries in this year's awards was exceptional and our judges have had their work cut out in arriving at this list.

"The quality of operation demonstrated by these pubs is proof that talented, hard-working publicans can still attract customers wanting to experience the unique atmosphere of the Great British Pub. I look forward to seeing all the finalists in September."
