Greene King has relaunched d’Arry’s, the brand it bought from the Chris Gerard-led Innventure Inns, as a premium food-led rural concept.

The company has revived the concept in Berkshire-based pubs, the Swan in Pangbourne and the Greyhound in Finchampstead.

It is thought the d’Arry’s name is being used as more of an umbrella for the new format and is not overtly
featured in the pubs or on its websites.

The company has employed design agency Mobas to work on relaunching the brand, which is described as counting “credibility, quality of food and the complete dining experience as paramount
for customers”.

It is thought the group will look to convert more managed sites to the concept, focusing initially in the south of England, and is looking for a general manager to oversee the brand in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.
The original d’Arry’s was launched by Innventure in early 2008 in Cambridge.
