The Devonshire Arms, Chiswick-based pub that was formerly owned by high-profile chef Gordon Ramsay, has been placed on the market with vacant possession at a guide price of £1m.

According to property advisor AG&G, a buyer will secure a detached, freehold property with a site area of approximately 415 square metres (4,477sq ft) in a leafy, residential area of W4.

“This is a two-storey, part-basement pub with a trade garden in a popular area of London, so there is plenty of investment potential,” said David Gooderham of AG&G, who is handling the sale.

The Chiswick pub closed less than a year after re-opening under tenant Nick Gibson, who took the Enterprise Inns lease from Gordon Ramsay Holdings (GRH) last June and reopened the following month.
