Pipe & Glass's James Mackenzie's On the Menu recipe book shortlisted for award
On the Menu by Mackenzie of the Pipe & Glass in South Dalton, East Yorkshire, has been shortlisted in the Lifestyle Illustrated category of the British Book Design and Production Awards 2012 along with Jamie Oliver’s latest book Jamie’s Great Britain and three more.
“On the Menu is more than just a book of recipes; it’s about my life with my family at the Pipe and Glass, and the lovely community we live in,” said Mackenzie. “We’re all thrilled that it’s been recognised in this way.”
The judges will be looking for good design, free of typographical errors. Particular emphasis is placed on excellent layout and standards of typography. The winner will be announced on 20 November.
