Two pubs become first winners of Carlsberg's Football Legends competition
The 12 Pins in Finsbury Park, London and the Jolly Miller in West Derby, Liverpool are the first two winners of Carlsberg’s Football Legends competition and will each play host to the ‘Ultimate Match Commentary Team’ for an England’s World Cup qualifying game.

Irene Fitzgerald, licensee of the 12 Pins is looking forward to the visit of: former Liverpool and Wales striker Ian Rush; former Everton and England midfielder Peter Reid; and sports journalist Chris Hollins for Moldova v England on 7 September.

She said: “London has had such a wonderful summer of sport which we have been lucky to be a part of. We are now looking forward to the football season and the upcoming England games. We are delighted that our pub has won such a great prize”
 
The Jolly Miller will welcome Rush, Reid and Hollins for England v Ukraine on 11 September. And two more lucky pubs (yet to be announced) will host the trio for England v San Marino on 12 October and Poland v England on 16 October.
