Brakes has appointed a new UK marketing director.

Dave Hughes is joining from Game where he was chief marketing officer to replace James Armitage who is mobing into the role of independent marketing director.

Hughes has experience in e-commerce, multi-channel and CRM and has also worked a M&S Direct. He will oversee marketing activity in the UK across all sectors and channels.

Adam Martin has also joined into the new role of customer solutions director from Mitchells & Butlers where he was marketing and strategy director. He will work on communication between Brakes and its customers.
